Known for digging deep into rare, mind-bending records, MD has graced the decks at iconic events such as ReSolute, Golden Record, Funky Seshwa, and other NYC staples. Their sets create an immersive experience for true music lovers, weaving together tracks that inspire and elevate the dance floor. -- Christopher Weeden, known professionally as SMURFOUDIRTY, was born and raised in New York City. He is the son of the legendary funk guitarist, composer, and arranger Dennis “Menace” Weeden—renowned for his work with notable artists such as France Joli, Taana Gardner, Secret Weapon, and Gwen McRae—and the grandson of Terry Pollard, a Detroit Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and esteemed American jazz legend. With nearly 15 years of experience as a DJ in New York City, he specializes in disco, funk, house, and hip hop music. Over the course of his career, he has shared the stage with numerous artists across America, primarily in New York, and has expanded his influence internationally by performing in Greece for the past five years.
